WHY I'M DOING IT
I love the ocean. The moment you dip your head beneath the surface, you're transported to a whole new world waiting to be discovered.
Water is life, and I truly wish everyone could experience the magic it holds.
Taking on this challenge not only supports those bravely fighting cancer- bringing them waves of hope and strength- but also is a reminder of how fortunate and grateful I am. Every day, I wake up with the ocean as my playground, a gift I never take for granted, and wish to share with others.

Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
The reality is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. The good news is that we can make a tangible impact on how we treat cancer by contributing to innovative cancer research that benefits us all.
