WHY I'M DOING IT
Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
In the Ocean, or at the pool, I’ll be surfing or swimming or just be in the water once everyday. I’ll document this journey!
We all know someone, close or not affected by the cancer, and if treatement exist, helping those in pain to have an everyday better life, supporting them physically, mentally or financially can make a huge difference on the road to recovery.
The mind is probably the most impactful factor when it comes to recovery along surgeon and health professional expertise. Bringing smile and be part of a community of support can light the mood and bring hope !
