WHY I'M DOING IT
Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. This year Team Millie thought we'd mix it up a bit. This means I will be hitting the water in its liquid state at the beach at Cronulla from today to the 9th of Feb. Next I will be hitting the water in its solid state as snow in Japan - aim is to post a snow angel or two. There is a good possibility that i will also engage with the gaseous state of water (steam) in an onsen - no photos!
Is has been my pleasure and privilege to be part of the team at The Chris O'Brien Lifehouse for more than 10 years now. One in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime - a big statistic. The good news is that we can make a tangible impact on how we treat cancer by contributing to innovative cancer research that benefits us all.
It only takes a minute to donate and anything you can give (no matter how big or small) will go a long way to helping people with cancer and their families.
Thank you, I really appreciate your support.
See you in the water!
