WHY I'M DOING IT
Each wave in February, I'll be riding the tides for SurFebruary, making a splash in fundraising for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
Here's the gnarly truth: one in two of us will face the cancer swell in our lifetime. That's a hefty wave to catch. But, stoked news ahead - we can carve a real difference in cancer treatment by channelling our efforts into radical cancer research that benefits the whole crew.
Dropping a donation is a breeze and takes less than a wipeout. Any contribution, big or small, will ride a long way in supporting those tackling cancer and their families.
