WHY I'M DOING IT
Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
The reality is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. That’s a pretty big statistic. The good news is that we can make a tangible impact on how we treat cancer by contributing to innovative cancer research that benefits us all.
It only takes a minute to donate and anything you can give (no matter how big or small) will go a long way to helping people with cancer and their families.

Donny surfed 400 plus days in a row starting 2 years back lost his dad sadly last year and still kept going no matter the conditions some days were horrific with no one in the water and he still went out while I watched at the lookout. Only thing that stopped him was a bad surfing facial injury and had to learn to talk again. But got on his feet as soon as he could get back in the water. This man is truly dedicated and a great mate. Motivated me at my lowest after losing my sister and mother to cancer. This is a good cause Chris O'Briens Lifehouse operated on my mother but couldn't be saved. Much love ❤️
