WHY I'M DOING IT
As you may or may not know, my wife, was diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer a few years ago. She has been through various treatments including Chemotherapy, Radiation treatment, Hysterectomy and Mastectomy. She is still receiving ongoing treatment from her oncologist and must take medications daily. The good news because of her treatments she has been in remission for the past few years. Very soon, though 2024 she will be undergoing even further surgeries because of this cancer.  Â
Â
Each day this February I'm hitting the water in way or another for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
The reality is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. That is a big statistic. The good news is that we can make a tangible impact on how we treat cancer by contributing to innovative cancer research that may just benefits us all.Â
Â
It only takes a minute to donate and anything you can give (no
matter how big or small) will go a long way to helping me reach my target and
help improve the lives of those affected by cancer.Â
Â
Thank you, all kindly, I really appreciate your support.Â
