WHY I'M DOING IT

Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.

The reality is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. That’s a pretty big statistic. The good news is that we can make a tangible impact on how we treat cancer by contributing to innovative cancer research that benefits us all.

It only takes a minute to donate and anything you can give (no matter how big or small) will go a long way to helping people with cancer and their families.

Thank you, I really appreciate your support.

See you in the water!

Found a fun right-hander today on the way home from Brisbane.

Spent the morning kayaking on the Mary River as part of the Year 7 school camp. Then headed south to Brisbane for a headteachers conference, but managed to find a wave of sorts to surf.

Day Seven

Wednesday 7th Feb
A moody atmospheric morning. Still good surf!!

After a week long school camp and a long drive home, I was happy to catch a wave!

Day One - K'Gari aka Fraser Island.

Thursday 1st Feb
Year 12 school trip, but still managed a swim in the sea...  Not too deep mind, as a little too sharkie for my liking!
