Day 1 of the SurFebruary Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Challenge It was a cold and rainy start, but the boys hit the water with big smiles and plenty of determination! Thanks so much to everyone supporting the kids as they take on this meaningful challenge to raise funds for cancer research. We’re one man down for now—Teddy is on the bench after getting 12 stitches in his leg last week (ouch!). But Louis and Freddy have stepped up, doubling their efforts with two sessions a day until Teddy can join them back in the water. Your encouragement means the world to them, and every donation helps this amazing cause. Let’s make waves together!

Teddy, Louis, and Freddy’s Ocean Challenge for a Cause

Combining their love for the ocean with their determination to make a difference.

Over the past year, the boys have developed a deep passion for the water—whether it’s surfing, snorkeling, swimming, or fishing, they’ve embraced everything the ocean has to offer. Inspired by their adventures and the beauty of the sea, they’ve decided to channel this passion into raising funds for a cause close to their hearts.


Last year, their team was deeply affected by the loss of a teammate to a brain tumor. This heartbreaking event motivated the boys to take action and help support cancer research. They wanted to honour their friend by taking on a meaningful challenge that reflects their connection to the ocean and their commitment to making a difference.


By participating in the SurFebruary Challenge, the boys are raising funds for Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, a world-class cancer treatment and research centre. Every dollar raised will support innovative research projects and provide hope to families facing cancer.


Teddy, Louis, and Freddy are eager to make waves for this important cause, and they’d love your support to help them reach their goal. Together, we can honour their friend’s memory and contribute to a brighter future for cancer patients everywhere.
