WHY I'M DOING IT
Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
The reality is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. Unfortunately that statistic includes my mum. She fought really hard for 4 and a half years before she passed away in June 2023 from Leiomyosarcoma. We are so grateful that Chris O’brien Lifehouse provided treatment for her. They helped give us that extra special time with someone we love so much. This is our way of trying to give back.
