WHY I'M DOING IT
Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
People who are close to me will already know the struggle I had with cancer last year. At the end of 2022 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer and had to have two operations and a lot of mental support to get through it. Just over 12 months later and I have moved across the world to Australia from the UK and I am loving the surf life ! Surfing and being in the water has a positive impact on my mental health and I can’t wait to use that to raise some awareness and money for other people suffering with cancer.
