WHY I'M DOING IT
Each day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
The reality is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. That’s a pretty big statistic. The good news is that we can make a tangible impact on how we treat cancer by contributing to innovative cancer research that benefits us all.
It only takes a minute to donate and anything you can give (no matter how big or small) will go a long way to helping people with cancer and their families.

My surf Feb so far
Sunday 25th Feb Hey guys I’m so ecstatic about all the amazing donations. Raising money for cancer is so good. Even though getting up early in the morning is hard I’m sure it’s nothing compared to cancer so that’s why I’ve been helping from 2021-2024 for those in need. My friend unfortunately got cancer and every donation and every wave counts for them. Thank you guys all so much for donating. Only a few days left. Share

Thursday 15th Feb Going well with the early mornings. Four years of doing SurFebruary and this feels like the easiest (so far.)

Tuesday 6th Feb Donations continue to flood in like this rain today, which I am very grateful for (the donations, not the rain.) I’ve nearly achieved my $1000 target in the first week.
4th Feb 2024
Sunday 4th Feb Donations coming in thick and fast. I am very grateful for all the donations. Yesterday the surf was pumping. It was so big that I didn’t want to catch broken waves at Elouera. We decided to check out the surf at Oak Park. It was a little smaller down there. I didn’t stay in for very long because it was a bit dangerous but it meant that I kept my promise to surf a wave each day in February. A girl from my school last year was diagnosed with cancer in the school holidays. This is what keeps me motivated to keep raising money. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
