MY WHY 💙
Each day in February, myself and the No Waves... No Worries team from Yass are hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. I will be both swimming and stand-up paddle boarding.
I would love to give back to cancer research after being diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma (bone cancer) in 2023. The need for cancer research is clear to me after being diagnosed with an extremely rare tumour, and seeing the effect cancer has on families, friends and communities.
The treatment I received at the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse in Sydney was incredible. I am very lucky to be able to share my story to give hope to those who need it most, and as a way to give back in appreciation.
Any donation is appreciated and will go a long way to helping people with cancer and their families.
