We smashed the $1000 goal!!
Thursday 22nd Feb Hi Crew, we achieved the $1000 goal together!! Thanks for all the support with your donations. I still have a week of hitting the ocean everyday to meet my commitment to Surfebruary - that means 7 days let to contribute to the fight against cancer by donating if you can. Tuesday 30th Jan I’m back and hoping to crack $500 in donations by hitting the ocean every day in February. I feel drawn to support Chris O’Brien Lifehouse as I have been going through personal cancer issues for several years with a recent diagnosis requiring ongoing medical treatment, a healthy positive mindset and the support of family and close friends. All of which I am grateful for. If through my participation and your donation we can help fund further cancer research hopefully one day soon ‘The Big C’ will no longer be such a threat to everyone’s health. Share
Why I'm doing it
Wednesday 20th DecEach day in February I'm hitting the water for SurFebruary and raising funds for cancer research at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
The reality is that one in two of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime. That’s a pretty big statistic. The good news is that we can make a tangible impact on how we treat cancer by contributing to innovative cancer research that benefits us all.
It only takes a minute to donate and anything you can give (no matter how big or small) will go a long way to helping people with cancer and their families.
